The RAVENry

The Editorial Board wishes to formally advise our esteemed readers and patrons opting for a physical delivery of The Carnival of Glass (Print Exclusive edition). All forthcoming monthly dispatches are strictly bound to the seasonal flight patterns and fickle temperaments of our ravens.
The Ringmaster closes each month’s ledger on the 15th. Names entered before then are included in the next outgoing dispatch; later arrivals are carried into the following month’s circulation.

What is the Carnival of Glass?

The Carnival of Glass is a newspaper from another world.

Each monthly issue follows a complete fantasy story from somewhere within its strange universe. Around it, advertisements, notices, reports and rumours reveal glimpses of a world far larger than the story itself.

The Ringmaster travels these lands, records what he finds, and sends his dispatches to those curious enough to receive them.

What arrives each month?

  • A handmade envelope — textured paper, folded and prepared by hand.

  • A real wax seal — each dispatch is sealed before leaving the Carnival.

  • The newspaper — a complete standalone fantasy story presented as an in-world periodical, surrounded by reports, advertisements and lore.

  • Private correspondence — a separate letter from the Ringmaster, meant to be read after the newspaper.
